We heard your feedback and have responded by breaking down our solar training course into four modules: PV Solar Basics, the online PV Off-grid Technician, the practical PV Mounter, and Off-grid Designer. These new modular courses will allow you to learn at your own pace and focus on the areas that are most important to you.
PV Solar Basics module is a practical course that will introduce you to the fundamentals of solar energy, including the basics of photovoltaics, solar system components, and system design. The course is hands-on and will give you the opportunity to work with solar panels, inverters, and other solar system components.
PV Off-grid Technician module is an online course that will teach you how to install and maintain off-grid solar systems. The course covers topics such as calculating system components, diagnose, repair and maintaining PV systems, and develop business practice among others.
PV Mounter is a completely practical installation program that starts from the wiring chart through the execution of the installation process, up to the commissioning and testing of the system. Some of the main topics are: planning an installation based on wiring charts and materials lists, hands-on installation on different roof types, and commissioning and programming of inverters (different manufacturers) among others.
Off-grid Designer module is also a practical course that will teach you how to design and optimize off-grid solar systems. The course covers topics such as an overview of off-grid PV systems, case studies with site inspection, consultation, system sizing and quote preparation, and commissioning and operation of an off-grid system, among others.
The entire program is accredited by the German Energy Society (DGS). This means that the course meets the highest standards of quality internationally and will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to be successful in the solar industry.
